Since album and CD sales have plummeted, and digital “streaming” services provide no significant royalties (except for top artists), this new technology allows artists to more wholly capture the proceeds from their artistic work. Reestablishing direct access to fans and collectors by offering unique ownership through a decentralized “block chain.”
