on each disc

Origins

This recording finds Matt comfortably returning to his roots…
the piano…indeed, his "origins."

A collection of 17 pieces—shared in their original solo piano versions.

End of a Day

Dedicated to his son, Luke, Matt's fourth CD is an eclectic
blend of textures & titles.

Quite an ambitious project that features a Boston Symphony
Orchestra string section among the more than 20 performers.

Conversations

Matt's third recording is meticulously crafted—weaving the
unique sounds of each instrument to add texture & nuance.

A symphonic poem gives way to meditative musings,
soaring melody lines take turn with pulsing Latin rhythms.

Something About the Moon

In his second recording, Matt shows his early arranging skills with the addition of saxophone, cello, flute, guitar, drums and bass on six of the tunes.

The title track duet between piano & drums highlights
Matt's fascination with the moon.

A Quiet Moment

Matt's first CD has become a classic…showcasing his
early works at the ripe age of 23 years old.

From simple & rhythmic to compelling & evocative—
…these pieces will relax and soothe your soul.

Winter on the Common

Matt was deeply involved with the release of this recording…
many of the selections he either arranged, accompanied or directed.

There’s an eclectic mixture of styles presented: Have you
ever heard a Cajun version of “What Child Is This” or
a jazz trio play J.S. Bach’s “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring”?

Since Matt does not YET have a Holiday recording of his own,
you may want to check out this one.
